3x3 BASKETBALL PROGRAM

The program aims to develop those athletes who may be better suited to the 3x3 format and progress them into the 3x3 pathway.

2025 Program Structure

SWAS will hold a TID Day Sunday July 20th at Warrnambool Storm with thanks to CLB.

Applications are NOW OPEN.

From this session, a number of athletes will be invited to join the inaugural program with 6 sessions between July and November 2025.

Inclusions:

• Specific inclusions for the 2025 Program are yet to be determined and will be based on the outcomes from the TID Day.

• At home or in gym training program  (please note SWAS does not provide a trainer or gym access)

• Access to "The Athlete Blueprint" with access to education and training resources

Exclusions:

• Travel to and from events

• SWAS merchandise (hoodies, caps, etc)

 

SWAS 3X3 Program Selection Criteria

TBC

1. Be an existing member of a Basketball Victoria affiliated club/Association in the South West.

2. Reside in the South West region within the defined Local Government boundaries; Moyne, Corangamite, Glenelg, Southern Grampians, Warrnambool.

3. Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

4. Have reached a satisfactory standard of play as assessed by coaches.
